5 NCC Cadets of Modi College participated in All-India Thal Sena Camp (AITSC)

The All-India Thal Sena Camp (AITSC-24), held in Delhi from September 2 to 12, 2024, is renowned as the second most prestigious NCC camp after the Republic Day Parade, known for its rigorous selection process. AITSC offers cadets opportunities to demonstrate their skills in events like shooting, obstacle courses, debates, and more.
Five cadets from Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, participated in AITSC-24. Among them were SUO Rinku (B.Sc NM final year) and CPL Lakshay (B.Com 2nd year) from the 5 PB BN NCC, and SUO Kirti Deshwal (B.A final year), UO Anchal (PGDCA), and SGT Amandeep Kaur (M.Sc Chemistry, 1st year) from the 4 PB Girls BN NCC.
These cadets underwent intense training under the leadership of Colonel Amitesh Verma, Commanding Officer of 4 PB Girls BN NCC, and Colonel Sandeep Roy of 5 PB BN NCC, with guidance from College NCC Officers Lieutenant Dr. Rohit Sachdeva and Lieutenant Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta.

Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal commended the ANOs and cadets on this significant achievement, expressing pride in their dedication and in the college’s role in supporting their journey to this milestone.
